Sueño
Although thin in the following photos when we first requested information, it made it easy
to judge his potential as both a halter and performance horse. Skeletons don't
lie and this colt is built excellently! By next year no one will be able to recognize
him in the show ring as the same horse! We will continue to keep his older
photos up so we can share his progression.
7 months old
Sueno before leaving Spain
Already
gaining weight in Belgium, the flight company, European Horse Services (http://www.ehs.be/)
felt it would be best to put weight on him before flying so he stayed
there for a month. They also halter broke and groomed him. Until
arriving at EHS, Sueno was never handled before except to be
roped and ear twitched to get micro chipped by the Cria Caballar.
Although scared to death of humans due to his first experiences with
them, Sueno learnt with EHS to trust and we are very
grateful to Stijn and the flight company for their concerns and
wonderful handling of Sueno. Without which we doubt Sueno would have
made the flight over so successfully. Big thanks also to Francine as
well as the haulers who picked up Sueno first in Barcelona.
